About Me
I practise as a counsellor and psychotherapist with individuals, couples and groups from two locations: Trix Road and Unthank Road, both situated in a central part of Norwich.

The way I work takes into account the whole person - body, mind and spirit - not just the thinking part of you.  If you are looking for a counsellor in Norwich who is not limited to just one school of psychotherapy, then my way of working might suit you.

I use what is called an Integrative approach, combining an accredited training in Humanistic Counselling with influences from other therapeutic approaches that I have also trained in.  These may include body awareness, the Enneagram of Character Types, Gestalt Therapy, Relationship/Couples Counselling, Inner Child work and mindfulness, depending on what is right for you.

In addition to my training and experience working in private practice, I have had 30 years experience of consistently working through my own issues in a wide range of therapeutic settings.  I consider this an essential part of what I can offer as a therapist.

I am on the Accredited Voluntary Register of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and work as a Credentialled Therapist for Norwich Mind.

For those who are drawn to it, I also practice a hands-on bodywork technique called Zero Balancing, designed to release pain, stress, deep held tension and other unresolved personal history held in the body.  Since the body and mind are so interconnected, some people find this complements talking therapy very well.
